Built by a lawyer.
For every employer.

WorkRight exists because too many Australian small businesses are blindsided by compliance gaps they didn’t know existed — and the penalties are getting serious.

Founder & Principal Lawyer

Sacha is a practising Australian lawyer with experience across employment law, workplace regulation, and business compliance. She works with employers ranging from sole traders to mid-sized businesses navigating their obligations under the Fair Work Act, WHS legislation, and the wave of recent employment law reforms.

WorkRight grew out of a simple observation: most small business owners aren’t deliberately non-compliant — they’re overwhelmed. The employment law landscape has changed dramatically in the past two years. Wage theft is now a criminal offence. Psychosocial hazard management is mandatory. Casual conversion rules have been rewritten. The Right to Disconnect applies to all businesses. And most employers have no idea where they stand.

Existing solutions are either too expensive (advisory services at $10,000+/year with lock-in contracts) or too broad (HR platforms that bundle compliance with payroll and recruitment features small businesses don’t need). WorkRight focuses on one thing: telling you what’s wrong, which law requires it, and giving you what you need to fix it.

Why WorkRight is different

There are plenty of HR platforms and compliance tools in Australia. Here’s what makes WorkRight different from all of them:

Built by a lawyer

Every question, risk rating, and legislative reference in the health check is written and validated by a practising employment lawyer — not a developer or HR consultant.

Compliance only

We don’t bundle compliance with payroll, recruitment, or benefits you don’t need. One focus — are you meeting your legal obligations? — done properly.

Transparent pricing

No lock-in contracts. No aggressive sales calls. No hidden fees. The health check is genuinely free. Paid tiers are flat monthly per business, cancel anytime.

Specific, not generic

Your gap report cites the exact legislation, regulation, or Award provision that creates each obligation. Not vague advice — precise legal references you can verify.

Small business focus

Built for businesses with 1–50 employees — the ones facing the full weight of employment law without in-house HR or legal resources to manage it.

Australian made

100% focused on Australian employment law. Every reference is to Australian legislation, Awards, and regulations. Not a US or UK platform with an Australian skin.
